Archery: Pravin Jadhav Exits in Round of 64
Indian archer Pravin Jadhav was defeated 6-0 by Kao Wenchao of China in the men’s individual round of 64 match at Les Invalides on Thursday.
Jadhav’s second Olympic campaign ended without a medal, following his debut at the Tokyo 2020 Games. The Chinese archer showcased exceptional precision, scoring 10s on six of his nine arrows, while Jadhav managed only four 10s. Kao Wenchao secured victory after three sets with a flawless performance.
Earlier in the competition, Jadhav was also part of the Indian men’s archery team, which was eliminated in the quarter-finals by Turkey, the eventual bronze medallists.
