Armand Duplantis and Jakob Ingebrigtsen captivated spectators by setting new world records at the Silesia Diamond League meeting on Sunday. Duplantis, known for his energetic celebrations, achieved a new pole vault record of 6.26 meters, just under three weeks after breaking the previous record while defending his Olympic title in Paris. The 24-year-old Swede was honored by Polish President Andrzej Duda, who personally congratulated him on the track.
