Cricketers’ Body to Explore Options for a Sustainable Global Cricket Calendar

Frustrated by the lack of unity among ICC member boards to create a sustainable global cricket schedule that accommodates both international and franchise tournaments, the World Cricketers Association (WCA) has decided to address the issue independently. On Monday, the WCA, formerly known as the Federation of International Cricketers Association, established a six-member committee. This committee will consult with players, administrators, broadcasters, and franchise owners over the coming weeks to produce a comprehensive report.
