Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh (Haryana Steelers) became the most expensive foreign player at INR 2.07 crore, while Sunil Kumar (U Mumba) set a record as the most expensive Indian defender ever at INR 1.015 crore. Ajith V. Kumar was the most expensive player in Category C, purchased by Puneri Paltan for INR 66 lakh, and Jai Bhagwan was acquired by Bengaluru Bulls for INR 63 lakh.
