India secured 19 medals at the Tokyo Paralympics and a historic 111 medals at the Para Asian Games
India is aiming to win over 25 medals at the upcoming Paris Paralympic Games, with its largest-ever contingent of 84 athletes, according to Devendra Jhajharia, the country’s governing body chief, on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Jhajharia, a two-time Paralympic gold medalist, emphasized that the Indian team hopes to build on the record-breaking success from the 2021 Tokyo Paralympics and the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Para Games.
