The four points secured by Mohammedan Sporting earned them a second-place finish, while the Indian Navy ended at the bottom, losing all three of their matches.

Mohammedan Sporting SC secured their first win of the tournament in their final Group B league match, defeating Indian Navy FT by a single goal in the 133rd Durand Cup at the Kishore Bharati Stadium in Kolkata on Tuesday (August 13, 2024). Midfielder Sujit Singh scored the decisive goal midway through the first half, earning Mohammedan Sporting all three points. They concluded their campaign with four points, from a win and a draw, while suffering a loss against Bengaluru FC, who advanced to the quarterfinals with a perfect record.
