Sai Ashok, a 32-year-old boxing administrator at the Army Sports Institute in Pune, will become the youngest Indian referee to officiate at the Olympic Games since their inception in St. Louis in 1904. He will be the fourth Indian to hold this prestigious position. The most recent Indian officials to serve as referee judges at the Olympics were Kishen Narsi and Jay Kowli, who officiated at the London 2012 Games.
